In short: We are a small family run business passionate for the salvage and rebirth of century old wood. Through hard work, care and craftsmenship, we hope to restore pride into the furniture we showcase in our homes.

Beginning in 2007 under the name “Century Wood Creations”, we initially specialized in making tables from rescued wood. Our main woods of choice were old pine and hemlock. Much of our focus early on was perfecting the finish. We needed to preserve the woods natural beauty yet provide a usable surface. A commercial 2-part epoxy proved to be the best and since; we have focused on various polyurethane top-coats (matte, satin, semi-gloss and high gloss). From coffee tables to 16′ board room tables, many would consider this to be our specialty.

However, over time our imaginations have forced Rescued Workbench to not only offer tables but a variety of home applications. Please navigate through our latest work to get a true feel for our range. A picture tells a thousand words, so let us know what piece speaks to you.

Although we do have a showroom with furniture items for sale, we specialize in working with our clients to create pieces they will truly love. Be involved in the process as much as you can! If you have ideas, we have the materials, tools and follow through. If you struggle with imagination, that’s ok too! In home consults are common to outline different concepts and possibilities.
